"This hotel rocks when it comes to service. Right from the security person who opens the gate to the hotel to the chef, to the front desk everybody welcomes you with folded hands (traditional indian way of greeting). staff is always ready to help you. Location is very best being close to the most hap pening place in the city. at the moment, there is some inconvenience due to road repairs going on all around. Excellent breakfast. Enjoy south/north Indian, continental and if it not on buffet you ask and the they will prepare and give it. good restaurants but bit pricy. Drawbacks: Lifts are too slow. Access card in the lift does not work efficiently. You have to insert many times. Standard Wifi which is free more or less does not work. Speed is pathetic. I am sure they can give it free with good speed. Lobby carpet need to be replaced. The Leela Palace Bengaluru "The grounds of this property, and the rooms are beautiful, well maintained, and a nice blend of classic and modern. The breakfast buffet was nice, but ala carte dining in the restaurants was disappointing. All seafood items are fishy, service slow, and often served cold. Typical with many hotels in India, the staff are very eager to help, but this was over the top and too much. I had to get very firm telling staff to leave me alone...
